Using Snapline means accepting these terms. They come down to a few simple rules.

The site

Snapline is a free guide run by a fan : an annotated watch order of Marvel films and series, and a tool to track your progress. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Marvel, Disney, Sony or any other rights holder. The order, statuses and comments are personal editorial choices.

The site’s code is written with the help of Claude, Anthropic’s assistant ; editorial choices and checks are made by a human. The publisher takes responsibility for everything published.

No advertising, no subscription, no paid features, no affiliate links. Should that ever change, it would be written here first.

Without an account, with an account

Without an account, you can browse, search, filter and tick everything ; your ticks stay in this browser.

An account is needed to rate, and for favourites, “Rewatch”, series tracking, the profile, statistics, friends, the duo and the group. It is created with a public username and a four-digit code, with no email or name. A recovery code is given to you when you sign up : write it down, the site cannot show it again. You can delete your account at any time, in one gesture ; an account with no visit for 2 years is deleted.

With others

A friendship, a duo or joining a group requires the agreement of both sides. A refusal is reported to nobody.
You join a group on its leader’s invitation, and only one at a time : accepting another makes you leave the first. The leader does not leave their group, they dissolve it.
What others see of you is detailed on the Privacy page. The link to a public profile or a duo invitation is not secret : anyone who receives it can pass it on.
Deleting your account undoes all your relationships and dissolves the groups you led.

Rules of conduct

It is forbidden :

to skew rating averages, through automated or mass votes ;
to access the site by automated means that disrupt it, or to get around its technical limits ;
to choose an abusive, hateful or unlawful username, nickname, duo nickname or group name. A filter checks them on the server ;
to harass someone who has declined a request or an invitation.

In case of abuse, the publisher may delete a rating or a text, and suspend an account : login is refused and the account disappears for others, but nothing is erased and the suspension can be lifted. Your right to delete your data remains intact.

Spoilers

Full summaries are folded under a “Spoilers” heading : opening them is your choice. For a work not yet released, the summary stops before the ending. Official posters, titles and synopses are not hidden.

Content

You may browse the site, install it and share its links. Without written permission, it is forbidden to extract its content systematically, copy it for commercial use, or remove authorship and source credits. The works mentioned remain with their rights holders (see the legal notice).

Liability

The site is provided as is : a date, a runtime or a streaming link may be wrong or out of date — report it with the “Report an error” button on the title card. The site may be changed or interrupted at any time. The publisher is not liable for data lost on a device (browser cleared, device changed), nor for the sites it links to, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes and governing law

These terms may change ; the version in force is the one on this page, dated at the top. They are governed by French law. In case of dispute, first write to contact@snapline.eu to seek an amicable solution ; failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction, subject to the rules protecting consumers.
