Snapline never asks for your name, email address or date of birth. No advertising, no audience measurement, no trackers : only what the site needs to work.
Data controller
The publisher of Snapline, a private individual. Their identity is provided on request at contact@snapline.eu, the address to use for any question about your data.
On your device
Without an account, your progress stays in this browser, for it alone : it is sent nowhere, and no cookie is set.

To erase everything : Erase this device’s data, in the Account tab, or your browser settings. Logging out also clears the device. Only the language, the welcome screen already seen and your choice for bug reports remain.

What others see
- Your friends, your duo and your group see your card : public username, nickname, emblem, colour, progress percentage and top three favourites.
- A friend request only shows your public username.
- Your duo partner also sees your ratings. A broken-up duo is erased on both sides.
- Your group also sees the titles you have watched and your ratings. A setting, on when you join, stops this sharing and erases the list on the others’ side.
- The public profile, on when the account is created, shows your card to anyone with its link, even without an account. Turning it off closes access at once.
- Rating averages are anonymous : nobody sees who rated what.

Cloudflare and Google may process data outside the European Union ; these transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. No other service : no statistics, no advertising, no script or font from another site.
Legal bases
- Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) : the account, friends, duo, group and bug reports. You give it with a gesture, and withdraw it the same way.
- Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) : error reports, to keep the catalogue accurate ; the IP address, to protect the site ; emails, to reply to you.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability. Most can be exercised without asking anyone :
- Delete my account, in the Account tab, erases everything from the server, ratings and relationships included, immediately.
- Erase this device’s data clears this browser.
- A rating can be removed, a profile edited, Clear erases notifications.
